Legendarna Oprah Winfrey 29. januara proslavila je 65. rođendan.

Jedna od najuticajnijih žena na svijetu, voditeljica, glumica, producentica, humanitarka – rođena je u siromaštvu u seoskom području američke države Misisipi.

Odgajala ju je samohrana majka tinejdžerica, silovali su je dok je bila dijete, a sa samo 14 godina je rodila sina koji je nedugo potom preminuo.

Njen talk show “Oprah Show” emitovan je od 1986. do 2011. i nema koga nije ugostila – od američkih predsjednika do holivudskih faca.

Postala je prva Afroamerikanka milijarderka, a puno je novaca donirala u dobrotvorne svrhe. Bila je nominovana za Oscara za najbolju sporednu glumicu u filmu “Boja purpura” 1985.
